4 – Ceri as a toddler and 4 generations…with Nanna, Granny, Mum 1945

Ceri was an active little toddler and enjoyed running around the garden and in the local Botanic Gardens.  He was also happy playing with bucket and spade, either digging in the garden or on the beach.

Commemorative Union Jacks were available to celebrate the end of the Second World War…VE Day, May 1945 and VJ Day September 1945.

This footage shows a rare 4 generation gathering in 1945:  Nanna (Margaret Grey, step-great grandmother) Granny (Elsie Stephen), Mum (Daphne Davies) and Ceri.

Grandfather Stephen owned a black Hillman Minx, ND 1155, which Mum, his daughter Daphne, drove after he died.
